Science Based Targets initiative
Medux is intensifying its efforts to reduce emissions in line with the Paris Agreement climate goals. We have joined the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
Within the next seven years, Medux aims to decrease emissions by more than 40%, and well before 2050, we aspire to achieve climate neutrality. These targets align with the goals set by EU countries collectively.
Medux wants to reduce emissions by more than 40%
This commitment from Medux responds to the urgent call for climate action by aligning with the 1.5°C scenario (limiting global warming to a maximum of 1.5 degrees Celsius) and the net-zero campaign. Medux is in the process of submitting the net-zero goals for both short and long terms to SBTi for approval.
In doing so, Medux responds to SBTi’s urgent call for climate action by joining the 1.5°C (limiting global warming by a maximum of 1.5 degrees Celsius) and the net-zero campaign. Medux must still submit the net-zero goals set for the short and long term to SBTi for approval.

Sustainability
In addition to being a market leader, Medux is a trailblazer in sustainability within the sector. This is evident through the electrification of our fleet, the use of 100% green electricity, and tangible achievements in circularity throughout the supply chain.
By joining SBTi, we reinforce our commitment to systematically reduce emissions, further solidifying our position as a leader in sustainability.
Medux encompasses Medux Nederland, Medequip, and Ross Care in the United Kingdom.
